anybody know what car it was?
looks to be a good advert not to buy fancey spoke alloys, the front one has gone and just left the spokes.
In the report it says Seat Leon, and it was being persued by the Police.
If it is the sporty model I would suggest it had no insurance, like a lot of high performance cars that don't have insurance these days.
There was a report a year or so ago that said carslike porsches and bmw m3 etc. where the cars most likely to be uninsured
old m3's i can see (theyre getting cheap to buy but still group 20) - but Porsches? aren't they mainly driven by older enthusiasts with money?
I'd guess the most common uninsured car is the kid driving "mum's" saxo - with the bodykit, splitters, wings, paintjob, tints, ice etc - yep - really looks like your mums car kid - can i see your licence and insurance please?

Funnily enough BJ no it is not the Saxo etc. owners. I no we moan about these people more than most, but it is the young people with modified cars that DO insure them properly, as they no how much they have invested in there cars.
The porsche m3 etc. owners often have so many debts that insurance is conveniently forgotten.
I understand it sounds like a generalisation, but I am searching for the report.
Not from the actual report but:
"Young drivers using high-performance cars have even less incentive to insure their cars when fully comprehensive premiums cost up to £2,500."
And bear in mind anybody driving a porsche under 50 years of age is considered "young"
