totally puzzled

havent got a clue how ive torn all the tissue inside my right shoulder, had a slight pain last week increasing over the days to what is now so excrutiating painkliiers are doing nothing for it. was up the hosp at 6am. arm now strapped up, possibly for 6 weeks. good job i drive an auto  :(

probably tryig to lift something d=far too heav.

My brother has suffered this to both shoulders at different times.

i havent really lifted anything heavy as far as im aware. i went ice skating yesterday the 1st time in 30 years and the pain was so intense i had to stop and sit down.

And they're probably right. I can pull a muscle sneezing. If you stop exercising, as you do later in life, it's really easy to pull/tear/strain something. And, of course, because we are getting a bit older, we are convinced it's something really serious. A heart attack.......at least. ;D

You can tear muscles and the adrenalin and endorphins will make you completely oblivious of it until they wear off.  As a word of advice from a pre-rehab perspective every morning and night take the dressing off and do some very very gentle stretches and movements.  Start off small and put an ice pack on it every evening.  Weekly hot baths will also help.

Otherwise, take it easy dude!

its in a sling now so will try some of these tomorrow when the tablets have hopefully taken away some of the pain.
had a lie on the bed earlier and trying to lift myself off was so painful, im dreading gpoing to bed again tonight though.

tramadol is good your knocked out after an hour until your body adjusts to them :Dcannabis is better
I was born with a lower spine defect and this triggers regular muscle spasms in my left shouder/neck
