Greedy Sods
« on: 29 April 2010, 21:58:11 »

Our usual driver at work has had an accident, he'll be off for a while & so i'm covering for him.
Been all over today & i needed some fuel on the return journey. Stopped in a services on the M62 for my tacho break & fuel £127.9 for diesel & unleaded :o :o
I put thirty quids worth in (enough to get me home), even though the company pay for it i still dislike the price & begrudge paying that much.
That's £5.80 a gallon :o :o >:( >:( >:( >:(
Off to Wales tomorrow & i'll fill up locally for £122.9.
It won't be long before it hits six pounds a gallon :'( :'(

bigger problem is the fuel tax, they seem to adjust that to suit thier needs.

now that the price has risen to more than a £1 per litre I have doubts that we will see it below a £1 per litre again.

It's just one attack on the motorist after annother, and with people having to travel further to get work then what are the real benefits for them.
