The Grand National.
« on: 14 April 2007, 13:34:16 »

One of the very few times I have a bet on the horses.

My knowledge of them stretches as far as knowing how to ride them (many years ago).
In the racing world it is non existant.

Just thought I would run a quick thred to see what others were having a flutter on, and see if any of us get it right?

Last time I did was bl**dy years ago!  :(

Anyway I have bet on the following.

Hedgehunter. £5 win @ 12/1
Longshanks. £5 win @ 20/1
Ballycassidy £5 e/w @ 40/1 (odds taken on all).

HINT: NEVER put money on a horse called U-Turn!

Losing a sweepstake when I was young stops me from ever gambling - my horse lost :(

Guess who my horse was - clue it came second
