Whilst cleaning this morning I found a pair of pink knickers, gold handcuffs, a rampant rabbit, set of woolly dice, and a light saber! :o :o :o

To claim them, please ask behind the bar. :D :D :D ;)

Debs, I've just noticed your new avatar.

Looks cool. 8-) 8-)

Tell us more! I know it's a flying machine, but what kind?

That`s my beloved LongEz "Livin`The Dream"; from a "canard-pusher" design originally created by Burt Rutan and which I spent 8 years constructing as part of my M.Sc. and (subsequently) Ph.D. research work.

Unlike most all other Ez`s (which are made using E-glass fibres laminated with epoxy resin) my heavily modified version of Burt`s airframe design is made from Carbon-fibre and S-glass within a bismaleimide matrix and now has a 'turboprop' gas turbine engine with a variable pitch prop.....although when built, I had originally installed a conventional IO360 6 cylinder Lycoming aircraft engine.
One nut, two seats, 220 Knots in a plane that`s flying backwards and "the sky`s the limit" ;D

Burt Rutan. I knew the name rang a bell. He's a climate change sceptic as well as being a superb aerospace engineer!

It's OK, girls, the quiz will just trundle on in the background, you carry on imbibing and chatting. Shall I stoke the fire?  ;)
