i loved my 24v Senator, preferred it to V6 Omega.

The thing that bugs me about my 24v Senator is that about a year after I sold it saw it for sale not far from the bloke I'd sold it to. I even went to look at. He gave me bull about what he said he'd done to it (yours truely had done it ... home made s/s exhaust etc) & I didn't buy it back  :-?  :'(  :'(

I done my advanced driving in one of those ...

we used to nick name them as

" The Cheese Graters "

due to the front grill if you hit something.....

off track but old motor. didnt jasper carrot buy a lotus carlton ? wonder if he still has it.worth a few quid now to the right buyer. :-?

Yes he did have one, bought it from Steve Thompson Vauxhall in Lichfield (An authorised Lotus Carlton Dealer).

By strange coincidence, there is a canal only a hundred yards from his old house that ended up having an LC dumped in it by the people who stole it.... just think if i'd gone fishing and hooked the line on it I could have probably claimed salvage rights!  ;D
