has anyone had any on there spine in the past, i have to have steroid and botox treatment. ??

Hmm .. same here -- except that the nodes caused by the inflammation are crushing the nerves to my right hand --- sometimes feels like someone is sticking flaming great needles in my hand. They told me they could fuse the bones in my neck but if anything went wrong I could be paralysed from the neck down -- told them I'll live with it a little longer !!!!

Don't take the risk HC. You're already paralysed from the neck up.

About what exactly? You're not having your bones fused, just the botox.
Ask them to put some round your eyes while you're there.
