BA is an awful company, just read Richard Brandsons Autobiography about their tactics when Virgin Atlantic was formed.

I read that book, a very interesting read. To be fair to BA though, it is run by a completely different set of people these days though. I have a fair bit of respect for Willie Walsh tbh.

if people want to strike they have the right then go for it, but,  when 1000s are buggered by the ash , then they strike, they dont get much confidence, they could have postponed it a while, and said, right so as to help the passengers, we will strike later in the year, but no.

Yeah. They should have gone on strike just overnight, when there weren't any flights. That would get them what they wanted.
