Working from home with computer ideas
« on: 18 April 2007, 00:20:41 »

Any one tried any work from home jobs with computer. Im faced with a slight problem of having time off again because the Mrs has to go back in hospital for another operation. Looking at about four months off work so trying to come up with an idea of making some cash while im busy doing my Florence Nightingale act. :o

Ive sold most things i can think of on ebay but cant come up with new so stuck there. Although i did make a good living out of it a few years ago. :y

So any bright ideas welcome. Ive left myself open for some suggestions there i can feel it. ;D

Thinking caps on i need to make some cash not only to survive but i want to revamp the Omega while i have the time, but as we all know it involves lots of cash.

Even though you want to work from home, it would help to know which part of the UK you're in....

Depends how good with the computer you are.

Freelance draughtsman is an option if you can use AutoCad.

We use a number of freelancers to do curtain wall design and bar preps aswell as some of the standing seam/ flat roofing.

May have to visit the office once every couple of weeks for meetings, but apart from that its all done electronically.

But only any good if you can use CAD, and know what your designing  :)

What do you usually do?  Any other qualifications?  Hobbies?  These are rhetorical questions.  It's bloody hard to earn any money from home, especially if you aren't already really good at something.  Also, in 4 months you will be lucky to find your first project/job.  Contacts in areas you are already involved in matter a lot.
