just won a pair of front fog lights for a W reg facelift
for 99p from a vehicle breakers in great yarmouth
which was handy as just up the road for me to pick up in person
seller just e-mailed me saying sorry they were sold a day or so ago sorry for any inconveniance
he has others on there for £14.95 each
think im being given a load of bull >:(

I just got this question on an item I have for sale.... ::) ::) The item is a Childrens Battery Powered Vintage Car for restoration, hence my reply.... :D :D

just had a request to cancel the transaction as the item is out of stock
declined stating seller has more on his egay listings
waiting for the next load of bull

I must say if he's daft enough to have others on there when he says that, he deserves everything he gets.

But whilst we're on the subject as an eGay seller myself, you really get shafted by buyers and eGay these days, absolutely no protection there for the seller, they treat you like a criminal.

I kept a 100% feedback for 8 years, then some twunt misread an auction description and negatived me - now its 93.8% and I can't do a thing about it.

And as for women buying clothes on there...don't even get me started!! My missus had a clearout to pay for some holiday spends, she used my account, never EVER again!! You might as well pay THEM for all its worth, talk about mither, and all for an average selling price of 99p  ;D

Cuts both ways. What annoys me as a buyer and seller is the fact that if I sell something, as soon as payment is received I will post said item at the first opportunity I get. If I buy something and pay immediately (which I allways do), invariably I am waiting in excess of 7 days to receive it. My attitude is "If it`s paid for, post it"

Yeah defo. I buy more than I sell, and I'm still waiting for some poxy cat cleaner after 7-8 days...always seems to be the automotive stuff thats late IMHO.

If it wasn't so good for spares and gadgets I'd have stopped using it long ago.  :)

Its a legally binding contract 99p or not he has to sell them to you.
He can of course say they have been lost or broken but if he has more then i dont see how that can be
He can of course say that the others are different
I would email ebay and see what they do or go to him and beat him up haha

I used to be a travelling salesman for the whole of the UK & have been to Newport, SOUTH WALES & also GREAT YARMOUTH & unless i've got Alzheimers (which i can't remember  :D ) these two delightful places ARE NO WHERE NEAR EACH OTHER - one's west & the others far east so may i ask if as u state - 'just up the road for me to pick up in person' ..... do u own a jet plane??  :o :-/ ::)
