Halifax BS Strikes again.
« on: 01 June 2010, 00:18:27 »

Just logged on to check my HBS balance.  All looked ok till I saw the balance and balance available being identical.

I have had a £250 overdraft for as long as I can remember, now it has been removed.  Not really a problem but was nice having it there.  Was there over the weekend and I allways do the sums to see what is pending in the system.

Just rung them, seems it expired on the 27th may and they wrote to tell me about it.  It must be me, as I rang up asking where it was so obviously have had no correspondence about it.

Wonder if it's part of the Halifax Reward Current Account that I upgraded to, at least they give me £5 a month for the hassle (even though they seem to be economising on post they dont send)  :-/

tell them to shove their overdraft, and just give you back your share of the taxpayer bailout and you'll call it quits  ;D :y

They give me a cheque book and £5 a month, balance is only kept at £100/200 for paying bills.

All I have to do is have an income of £1000 a month, as soon as it arrives it gets sent off else where ( to an interest bearing account)  ::)
