Wow! A really nice car! What is "cheap" at your side? A car like that would be in £20k+ range here  :'(

Between 2 and 3K would be my guess. But, knowing Jimbob, £1500.

There's a how-to on here if you're not sure.

Ok then, Ill spill the beans.

Been looking at this for a month / 6 weeks.

He wanted £3000
after a lot of negotiations...
I eventually got it for £1600  :D

1 owner from new - 60 year old bloke who used it for his company.
I bought it from the garage he always serviced it at in Huddersfield.
Seems to have been religiously serviced to the schedule, with the cambelt being done once at 70K!  so is due NOW.
Giving it a good look over today to do the jobs on it.

Wants a good service
Cam Cover gaskets
Cam belt kit (and waterpump and auxbelt)
Steering Idler
Either a thermostat or the temp sender clicking back on  :y
Hid level sensor.
New MAF,
no precat codes (yet), but cheers for the offer Mark, sure it wont be long  :y
glovebox catch wants adjusting, bit sticky.

Everything works on it, Icy aircon, themostatically heated sports leather, built in bluetooth (im changing the stereo anyway)

Detatchable Towbar

couple of tiny chips want some attention, and some very light grazes on 2 of the wheels.

Not swapping my insurance over till Ive done all that, may get my 2 new tyres swapped on to it as well.

So nothing really wrong, just service items I would do on any new car.  Great bargaining items though  :D :D :D

And then it will be what to do with the old workhorse.  :'(
She's not been the most reliable car Ive had...but certainly my favourite.

My next door neighbour has just given me a meguirs clay kit, so gonna have some fun with that too.
