Updated: ITV postpones Corrie for second day

I am not happy,  but I agree with the decision.
I suppose they are going to have to show them sometime and when they do there must be at least 3 back to back episodes, boy that will be fun.
James Fleet said whilst filming Siege Week it was like making a movie, well now it will be like watching one. :y :y :y

Yes Di I think it is absolutely right to postpone these episodes for as long as is required.

It is only a soap after all, but what has happened not too many miles from Manchester is all too real for the family, friends, acquaintences, passers by in those close knit communities at the moment.

God please give them some comfort and peace, and RIP to those 12 poor souls :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

Not sure where Manchester comes into this, you might expect such and atrocity there but in the lakes, such a tragedy and in such a small community that all are affected, as very sad situation..... :(

NEVER!!  >:( >:( >:(

The beauty of Corrie, unlike East DeadEnders, is that in the main it's FUNNY & doesn't take life too seriously  :y :y :y

I was brought up on Corrie & ??yrs on still enjoy it to the full!!

Now if u start mentioning East DeadEnders then for me it's the quickest way to get to book an appointment at the doctors for ANTI-DEPRESSANT TABLETS!!  :o :o :o

I'm SURE everyone is bound to back me up on this??!!  :D :D :D

We can agree on that point EOM :y :y.... I would bin all "soaps".....if I had my way. The producers/script writers of "soaps" tend to assume that the general public are too thick to understand anything more complicated than who "necks" ale in their local drinking pit. In this case "The Vic ::)"......and that other shithole " The Rovers  ::)".... ;) ;) ;)

Not being funny but its NOT REAL! Saying that one person complaining can be very expensive, erring on the side of caution I bet.

I wanna see cod-eye go ballistic though!!  ;D

Manchester Mike is where Corrie is set, and made, with 'the Lakes' forming the backgound to the Gail storyline with death involved.  Manchester is also where many come from who visit and holiday in the Lakes, with no doubt family connections to that area.  I can just imagine the reation of the very badly affected Lake District communities if a near neighbour TV company broadcast the shooting storyline, with the affects that would have had on people.

That to me anyway is how the Machester connection can be made. ;) ;)
