What is going on?

Everyone seems to be at each others throats. Is it the weather, time of the month?
I honestly believe OOF has gone way down the wrong line of late, and I will put my hands up and admit some of the jokes I have posted leave a little to be desired, but I will defend myself and say admins are a little over the top on what the choose to delete, as I have be pounded in the past with sheep jokes, which is HIGHLY racist, but nothing done. Like I asked in a previous thread, is it ok to post jokes as long as the content is kept within the UK Boundaries? Step outside International waters and the jokes get deleted.
Let's all take a chill pill and take time out, because the way it is going there will be no OOF in a few weeks and we WILL all be sorry then. I for one will miss it.
Stae you opinions, but please remember as I said earlier, the internet is EXPRESSIONLESS, the sooner we remember that the better.

It's not the first time & won't be the last. Sometimes we don't play nicely & won't share our toys. The admins have a tough job deciding what is & is'nt acceptable as anything is bound to offend some one. I personally feel some folk are too easily offended & should get over themselves. Worse is broadcast on telly than we're allowed to post here. I've had to moderate my behaviour regarding swearing which is everywhere...except here. ::)

I've said it before .....and I'll say it again. As far as I'm concerned people can post whatever they like...and if I don't like it then it's tough shit for me.... :y :y :y

i say what i think, if people don't like it tough! Its my opinion and its well, mine!

Has to be said a lot of the problems do come from members who no longer have Omega's never contribute to help section, and just post crap in general chat and stir things up!

 the onus isnt on anyone here to worry who is and isnt offended - and i've seen plenty of offensive stuff on here, and also some hilarious stuff, and informative stuff, and stuff I agree with and stuff I don't - as others have said its an internet forum - if you choose to come across as thick, or racist, or angry, or happy, or sad or worried, or arrogant, or smart, or whatever, its the individuals choice

Swearing "at times" is unnecessary agreed but things have moved on. The age old adage that swearing represents a lack of alternative vocabulary is now outdated & even then an opinion only held by those who (misguidedly) felt superior enough to look down their noses at us oiks!!!! Seems the ivory towers have crumbled given the fact swearing is now more commonplace than ever. All over the press, TV, even Radio 4. Used in the right context a swearword can accentuate humout/anger/frustration/surprise/pain/happiness.

   However i no longer swear on here even with ****'s because the admins have had to bow down to the over sensitive minority. Well done, victory is yours.
