Login woes
« on: 07 June 2010, 18:00:40 »

When I try to log in to the forum on my desktop PC I get username / password mismatch and therefore can't log in. However, using the same username / password combo on the lappie works!!

How can I get the desktop to let me in ???

Help  :-/

Thats bizarre.  I assume you are logging in with your username (which may or may not be the same as your display name)?

I assume its same logon you use for both machines? When was the last time you had to log in to OOF with lappy?

used same logon for both machines.   Problem started last night --- PC logs on automatically on browswer startup.  Halfway through evening I am suddenly a "guest" and it won't let me logon!

Thought the youngster might have pressed something while my back was turned --- so even tried a restore tonight -- no luck.

Have cleared auto logon details and re-entered manually --- still no go !!!!

Shrek ..... did you have to re-register in the end ?????

So do a user name and password reminder and try them in a different browser.
