Personally I dislike a lot of this 'reality' TV.
The BB series of shows rapidly went down hill after the first one or two. The whole point initially was to have a broad cross section of the public in the house, young/old, male/female/ different backgrounds etc etc.
While the intitial few shows were entertaining and to a point interesting to watch how everyone interacted and reacted to certain situations, it seems that the shows makers (as they always do) have opted for ratings rather than quality and have since chosen housemates that will clash, stand a good chance of getting their kit off, getting it on with other housemates or are gay/lesbian or somewhere inbetween.
I personally don't have any prejudices against any one race/creed or sexuality but chosing BB contestants for no other reason that to up ratings, no longer makes it a 'reality' show.
My Mrs. will watch the opening to see what dregs of society they are putting in the house and she may watch it a bit now and then, I however, wont be.
Thank God for Sky multi-room
