insurance is a funny business, i had to get a 2.2 when i first got my Omega as V6 quotes were huge...

But with the bike, i went from a 660cc single cylinder Yam, which was flat after about 70/80 mph, and worth £2k, to a £6k 1200cc BMW GS, which cost me only £50 a more per year to insure  :o

This is no £500 car, so yes otherwise would just go tpf&t which may only be about £20 cheaper anyway going on past experience.  ::)
