From what I saw there were a few playrrs who made mistakes, poor goalie makes a mistake and he's toss...... in fact I thought England played crap.

IMO England played a pretty lac luster game, their really going to have to "up the beat" when and if they come up against the top teams in the competition.

a lot of good teams start poorly - and you'll still qualify and probably top the group  :y

Really embarassing to watch, couldn't stop cringing, as we were hyped by the media to be best in the group.  :'(

Initially I was disappointed with the 1.1 result BUT I suspect that England are saving themselves and aiming not to peak too early. Maybe Green fumbled that goal to make us look mediocre and lull the opposition into a false sense of security.....

Boy are they going to get a shock.  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Who here would stick with Green now?

I would personally.

I wouldn't - you can't be sentimental - you're trying to win a tournament, Green screwed up and unfortunately for him, he's the keeper so any error is more likely to end in disaster than an outfield player. I remember Fergie dropping Jim Leighton for the FA Cup Final (scotlands best keeper at the time) and it destroyed his career for years.......but man utd won the cup. So what do you want? A happier keeper or a good tournament?  :-/

He's proved he can't handle it, its the World Cup the pressure and scrutiny is higher - get James between the sticks - experienced, calm and his calamities are a thing of the past (hopefully):(
