looking for a decant hi fi

 hi all been looking for a hi fi the past couple of days in the high street no luck,want over 150 quid for piece of junk only want a good cd player ,amp ,speakers  dont want  dab or ipod connection with it ,tried ebay no luck there , any one got something half decent they dont want , will pay good price  or if you know were i could get one that would be great  :y :y :y :y :y   thanks

hate to say it check halfrauds the have some reasonable ones on there and if you order it online you can get them to fit it free as well :y

Yep, another place to look is avforums. They tend to have very good kit being practically given away for the prices some of them put up!

BTW my CD player is a DVD player - don't knock it some were excellent.

I have had Denon 3 CD player with radio, very similar to those recommended above, for a number of years. Its been a great little system with superb sound and is really well made, can't endorse enough. :y

Maybe get a good set of 2nd hand speakers ( monitors )  Yamaha NS10Ms

A tad expensive but would be the best moved you have ever made...

Had mine since 1987 and still would never get rid of them,,, even on a pants stereo... they make music sound fantastic !! :y :y :y :y
