When I got my Omega the water in the washer reservoir was so stagnant that it stunk every time I used the washers. Had no idea it could be so dangerous  :o

I am a bit of a windscreen clean nut, does my nut in if I have a dead bug on the window and it won't clean off.
My washer water doesn't really stay long enough to form anything nasty but I also have washer fluid

I thought this was already known?  Stagnant water in a heated and cooled environment.  Methinks the BBC are struggling to find new news today....

That's great news Nick :y :y

Let's hope that Lord Young's review into the health and safety 'culture' doesn't impinge on the important work being done by those selfless souls in the HPA. :y :y :y

It's also gratifying to see the BBC fulfilling its remit 8-) 8-)

Perhaps I should stop pressure washing my car using water from the water butt in the garden. ::)

Problem is the tap water is about 30% chalk. >:(

Yes, perhaps if I mixed the two in the right proportions they'd neutralise each other. ;)
