afghanistan riches
« on: 16 June 2010, 10:33:11 »

afghanistan could become as rich as saudi arabia.does anyone else find this a bit worrying. great wealth to afghanistan can also bring great power, and also arms and nucleur weapons against the rest of the world.

I wouldn't like to be the one trying to dig those riches out of the ground to try to process and distribute them - investment, trained personnell, infrastructure, security and so on. :-/

I would have thought that there was a much easier commodity to harvest and distribute in the innocent, surface growing, poppy. :) :y

Well, rumour has it that heroin was 'introduced' into America to suppress the black population. I guess a lot of it at that time came from Vienam/Korea etc. Maybe same thing here, who knows, one for the conspiracy theorists out there ::)
