I am writing in respect of one Engr.Donna Balfour,He had a wife and a son of course all of them including his wife's mother(mother inlaw)were all in a crahed plane as they boarded for Lebanon where they went to celebrate the 2003 chrismas and new year,his mother inlaw is a Lebanese but she lived with them here.

I advocted for him as his personal advocate for years before this incident,a bank agent came to me at the first time by may 2006 to discuss about the fund deposited in their bank by my late client and their board of directors resorted that hence the entire family was wiped out,it now falls on me as his family lawyer to provide a member of my late client's extended family to lay claims to the fund deposited by their brother. In this regards,I have tried several avenues even through your embassy here but all to no avail.I pursed to see the bank's next action but to my greatest surprise,the bank just issued me a notice few days ago to provide a heir to the fund within the next twenty one(21)official work-days or they will have the funds confiscated as an unclaimed bill.
 
Under this pressure,I resorted to tracking his last name on the internet,this is how I got to you,I know you are not a relative to my late client,my interest is that you possess the identity I need,what I need now is for you and I to agree on a deal,we are just fortunate to be in the position hence you bear the same surname with my late client,then I will inform the bank that I have located my late client's relative so as to transfer the funds to you.
 
All I require from you is your honest co-operation to enable us see this transaction through,I guarantee you that this will be executed under a solid legitimate arrangement that will protect you and I from any breach of the law,I will provide you with all the legal documents that will back you up as the relative to my late client.
 
Therefore,upon receipt of your positive response,we shall then discuss the sharing ratio and modalities for the transfer.

Have a look on some of the 419 scambaiting sites there's plenty of tips on there for winding up these herberts.
Think the ultimate is to fling the scam on it's head and get them to send you money, some have actually managed that.

Update, see below e-mail I have just sent them and their response to my e-mail from yesterday ......think I should've been a salesman

Dear Patrick, Having read through your reply with interest regarding the ratio's, you can have 75%, given that in reality I have no connection or in common whatsoever, to the bereaved individuals other than surname only. Given this and what I consider whether or how legitimate this transaction may be. However, in for a penny in for a pound as they say, so I will provide you the necessary details for the funds to be credited into an account of my choosing. In return you receive 75% of the 5 million, which equates to 4 million dollars to you. You can prepare the necessary paperwork to protect your interest re; 75%, which you can send via e-mail PDF attachment, I will sign and send back as a PDF attachment. Given that I am allowing you to benefit to the sum of 4 million dollars that you fund any expenses between now and receipt of the funds into my named account.
 
As you can see you will benefit considerably from this proposed transaction, so I am willing to help you subject to your agreement to the above proposal.

This is the whole procedure we are going to follow to actualize this deal:honesty and transparency;REASON;as soon as I introduce you to the bank as a heir to my late client,the communications will be opened between you and the bank,I will be some how side-tracked,I will only depend on you for updates hence I am the one that has all informations to make this a success,moreso,at the end,this funds is going to be remitted into your account,there is the possiblity of you denying to have anything in common with me,while I would be looking unto you for my own share of the funds.In this regards,we shall have a documented agreement bonds which both of us will indorse.
 
Second thing I want you to know;As you and I should know,we are going to encounter some little expenses in legalizing and nortalizing of this transfer,both of us will be responsible for the expenses depending on the ratios of sharing the funds which we shall discuss,what percentage one gets in the funds should be the percentage he involved in the expenses.
