I have got one, although it hasn't really been used for a while because I ran out of syrup.

When I first got it I went from 100+/week to under 20/week straight away... The flavoured syrups are better IMO as the "natural" flavour is too synthetic.

I must dig mine out and go back onto it actually...

A mate of mine has tried to give up many times in the past, but failed. His had a some warnings from his own body which put him in hospital. His doctor told him to try these electronic cigs & he's never touched a real cig since, that's four months ago.
What works for one, doesn't for another.

If some kind of support does it for you, then what ever that is, use it!
Stopping smoking was one the hardest things I've ever done. I used Zyban, which doesn't seem available anymore, and replaced with Champix which SWMBO used.

8 yrs for me ............. & counting  :y

I've cut down from 20-25 a day to around 3 a day over the last few months without using any patches or gadgets. I cut out all the daytime ciggies and just have the odd 2 or 3 in the evening, usually with a pint.
However, a friend of mine from the pub was trying to kick the habit and was using a type of electronic cigarette called Intellicig. Anyway I tried it out and actually thought it was very good - actually felt like smoking the real thing. You can check them out here........

My mate bought an inert plastic cigarette thingy......

Reckon its like having a dummy, you just have to be holding something. never saw him put it to his lips, yet he carried it between his fingers for over a year, then just threw it away one day.

Funny, isn't it?  psychological??
