Indeed, they don't exactly do a lot of work during the week either.

Give Citizens Advice Bureau a ring...

Citizens Advice, you need an appt with them and then have to wait a few weeks for one around these parts.

All Citizens Advice Bureau offer drop in sessions, no booking needed, you discuss your situation then come back for an appointment if needed. Can also do this by phone

My point exactly, you drop in and if a solicitor is needed come back in a few weeks when appt available.

No. You inferred an appointment was needed with the Bureau, in most cases a Solicitor is not needed, most issues can be resolved by the Bureau's advice alone.

No. You inferred an appointment was needed with the Bureau, in most cases a Solicitor is not needed, most issues can be resolved by the Bureau's advice alone.

Now now children -- what IS it with you two these days  :-?

We have no idea what the issue is, so cannot tell whether or not CAB is the place to be, so why argue (again) over it ?

Back on topic......

As a manager of 30 odd years am knowledgeable in employment law. Can offer some advice depending on the problem via PM, will help if I can.

You won't find any solicitors on here.

For a start, no solicitor would be seen dead driving a 10 year old car.

And second, there's no mechanism for charging for their words of wisdom on OOF.
