Back to op - It might be worth googling free lawyers consulation. There is a scheme called i think lawyers for business which we have used at work where they give you a list of local solicitors who give 30 minutes of free advice. It has helped our workplace in the past and you have nothing to lose!

Thread heavily pruned to remove childish, playground, tittle tattle that is tedious in the extreme.  Will post seperately about same shortly.

To the Original Poster - Hopefully you were not discouraged by the addition of the aforesaid rubbish and that the thread is now sufficiently back on course such that you get a serious response to what is undoubtedly a serious subject to your good self.   :y

Firstly, as it's work related is the person concerned in a union?
Unions usually have a firm of solicitors they use who have a specialist in employment law, not only that they will pick up the bill for the member.
Secondly I believe some household insurance policies come with legal protection type insurance which may support a case.

I would repeat my advice (as my innocent post has been removed for some reason!) that the CAB are excellent in giving good advice and taking action as required.

In addition if it is in relation to employment law then try ACAS for advice:

;) ;)
