I don't imagine the recipe will ever be published but when i used the Dundee's microwave for the rice the lovely Kate did divulge a few basic ingredients (over one of Mikes cold beers!!) & the paste needed to cook the curry we all enjoyed.
I'm not too bad at Indian & Chinese. I've never tried cooking Thai so from now on it's my new goal. :y

It was incredible Daz. The individual taste of each ingredient really came through. That's what's going to take a while to learn. The balance of the ingredients & when to add them etc.
If after many attempts i can produce something half as good i'll consider it a success.

PS. Daz i love loads of fresh chillies, a vindaloo is a walk in the park, i have fresh green chillies in that for the crunch but tone things down when cooking for others...might be a way to make my Indian curry last longer at meets, make it to my taste!!! :P ::)

You make a damn good curry Guy yourself, but the Thai one is just up my street as it were..... I had the ingredients from Mrs. Dundee but I have not got a clue  ;D all I do know is I needed around a gallon of water to put the fire out in my tummy ;D ;D ;D

Mrs Dundee's Thai curry recipe is already on OOF somewhere .. it was published after a previous meet. I know 'cos we printed it off and still use it as a reference !!!!  :)

Would like the recipe for the "Sweet & Sour Snapper" if she could be persuaded ...   :y :y :y

There were both .. a thai curry AND the sweet & sour ..  :y :y :y

both delicious  :)

As was Guy's the night before ... we was spoilt rotten .. Indian, Thai, sweet & sour AND a very tasty stew !!!  As well as a continuous BBQ and 2 barrels of "real ale" .. ..

My thanks Guy, Mick, Broocie & Kevin .. who would not take anything in recompense ..

Indeed Nige anyone who didn't eat well over the weekend has only theirself to blame.
Start the day with a big fryup at cafe TB and then curry, sweet & sour, barbeque, stew, cheese & port in the evenings all washed down with copious quantities of real ale and Malt whisky. Thanks everyone it made a cracking weekend.
