going to bed at night

i feel tired and drained out of energy, yet it takes so long to get to sleep even after loads of alcohol only to wake up at about 4.30 am, anyone else having this problem??

Well Richie if I had loads of alcohol before going to bed I wouldn't wake up at 0430;  I would wake up at 0030, 0130, 0230, 0400, 0530, 0700, going to the loo!! ::) ::) ;D ;D ;D ;D ;)

Do you close your curtains? The light mornings will wake you up, they do me. I'll be up at five tomorrow & walking Mutley before six :)

i have very dark curtains but cant have the windows open cause i get the buses running outside all night going into the airport.

cheap aircon unit??


and the inconsiderate lorry drivers going past at 5am

This is very common Richie. I dont think I've had a proper nights sleep for years. I'm tired for the first few hours each day but then I buck up.

Staying off the alcohol might help. Doesn't do anything to help me sleep unless I'm legless, it has to be said.

.. and  a nice hot drink of cocoa / horlicks / ovaltine instead. ::)

i stopped taking the tramadil a few weeks ago, taking so many they were'nt having any effect on me and my doctor said they were supposed to last a month and not a week.
