I once had a job as a teenager logging videos of sewers, basically welsh water wanted a video reference of all their drains so they send a little camera robot yoke down ALL. The drains in Wales, the media company I worked for was tasked with logging all the tape into a interactive database so when someone in welsh water looked at their system and wanted to see a section of drain the corresponding video would pop up.

Hours and hours of drains, saw plenty of rats, dolls and other weird stuff, sounds boring but was actually really interesting

Weirdest task I had (part of a job) was sticking several freshly amputated legs in buckets, some empty, some with water and some with ice, placing a thermometer in the top of each limb and noting the temp. drop over time.

It was for an aneasthetist's research paper.  :-?
