Project Elite is Officially + Legally on the Road!
« on: 23 April 2007, 20:17:41 »

Project Elite, having sucusfully rebult the top end, and having gained an MOT, is now finished!

As I originally said, if the rebuild was a sucess (which it was) I would keep the car for myself - that is still the plan.

I just called Direct Line, I have arranged insurance from Thursday - when I will also Tax it. So from Thursday onwards - I've got a new car ;D

Can't wait, I'm thrilled :)

Good news James that it all went well and your happy with it......tho that does sound excessive on insurance.....unless you've loads of points  ::)

You should be getting good deals with the cars you have.....unless you've flogged em all  :-/

Ive just got A Plan (taxi insurance) to drop my veccyC from £1400 to £950 or loose my business.

And remember im only paying these high rates coz insurance comps hate taxi drivers!

Without my breakdown cover, it would cost me £20 a month less

I can't be arsed to change provider at the minute though.. there are only three months to run on my policy... and then I have 4 years no claims.

So I'm going to get stung for another three months... and then I will shop around for a better deal! The thing that's got me a bit, is that I had a "fault" accident a couple of years ago :(

But for the sake of three months, I'll let them sting me, get my NCD, and then shop around!

I have a squeaky clean licence!
