That helps keep Nokia going when they cannot produce anything good or useful currently

I used to be a huge Nokia fan, but their latest range are appalling, they really need to look at build as well. Current ones being released are really badly built

You see, this is where a Droog like me gets confused.

I've been looking on and off for some months for a 'phone that'll allow me to use the web with some degree of ease - without result so far.

There's so many available I simply don't know what to choose.

I would probably have ended up buying that Nokia on apperance alone. ;D ;D ;D - what a tool :-[ :-[

Me too. But them I'm in an unusual segment of the market who just want to be able to make phone calls - where the speech is intelligible, preferably. ;)

I was sort of put off that when people were talking about all these apps that you need - although I have to say from appearance alone, it certainly looks the part.

Is it too shallow saying that?  I haven't a friggin clue really ;D ;D ;D :-/

Why?

You don't need any apps to make calls, browse the internet, send texts and such, you only download apps you need/want.

Tesco one is brilliant, search for Baked Beans or something, it knows the store you are in, it will say its down Isle 17, 5th rack down on the right, 3rd from bottom. Saves so much time!  :D

Re the Tesco app....

Would be if there was any reception in the tin shack of a Tesco's I go too!

Then again I haven't got an Iphone and the Mrs does the grocery shopping

.. and for being able to actually understand your boss when he phones you on his... total sh1te. ;D

Mind you, it has broken and he's repaired it a few times (what were you saying about build quality? ::)) and he can be a bit ham-fisted. ;D
