« on: 23 July 2010, 13:14:35 »

Would any of you knowledable people have any idea what kind of salary an electrician would earn working for one of the main utility companies (Southern Electric).

Typically working on 3 phase electrics. In industrial premises.

Thank You

Alas it may seem a good wage, but not for the work you will be doing, these companies want their pound of flesh in a big way.

I currently employ 17th edition electricians with 2391 C+G for £26k, seems to be the old JIB type rate at the moment.

Any help??

Depends how big the name is I suppose, if our place was properly organised  .... they could make sooooo much more.  And they made £/$millions last year.

Thanks everyone. Long story cut very short, had a pile of scrap copper at work. electricians come in to do a job and my scrap pile disapears.
If there average salary is circa 26K, then I won't make any fuss.
