perhaps not what you were expecting!!

I have tons of these little Damson/plum type thing on a tree in my garden and wondered if any oofers could identify which type they are and what the hell I can make out of them.. seems a shame to let them all rot like every other year .

Could be green gages. A type of plum.

If they are( and I must say I thought they might be) then they are good for jam. Lots of pectin

Can the Original Poster maybe cut one in half and say whether there are pips or a single stone!! Better post me a stone  ;D ;D
