I work with 'puters.  I wouldn't say I particularly enjoy what I do, or the way I am made to do it.  But I do enjoy working in the team I am currently in, and I do enjoy the pressure and stress of it, esp with the type of servers we look after - its one thing when a NetWare server dies, affecting a few hundred users, but entirely another when a server fault may have implications for millions of users  ::). No wonder my boss panics a bit sometimes with my usual antics (not dissimilar to my antics with this place - for those that don't know, one of the network switches that run this place is running off a car battery since its PSU popped a few days ago)...

Which reminds me, I must charge that battery....

Do you need a Switch, TB?
Just a PSU. The gigabit switch itself is OK.  So if you have a spare PSU knocking around.... ::)

What voltage/amp etc, also external AC adapter or internal PSU? and actually what make/model is the switch itself? Also, I got lots of 19" ones, not gigabit but 100...

I am new on the forum, hobbies are fishing, caravanning keeping tropical fish, I have one daughter who was 18 yesterday, she is over the moon with her new private reg on her Corsa, I am married to my wonderful Sarah, who enjoys the omega as much as me, I hope to go on some of the meets to try and put faces to names, you all seem a good bunch with lots of help from you all.
Oh, my other hobby, or passion should I say, is my Omega.

Interests ::  Now let me think, I would say that most of my time is devoted to the Omega, mainly winter / spring, that way all's usually OK through summer / autumn, other than oil changes...  We, that's my wife, and 2 lads 13 & 9 and I, enjoy caravanning in South Cheshire and the odd holiday to Cornwall and other locations... met some great friends that way...  So yes, my main interest apart from the Omega is FRIENDSHIP..  It can't be purchased, it's earned!!!

I have 2 kids, both girls, eldest is 11 and the baby is just 1.

Winter sees me skiing down scary mountains and I've recently started river kayaking - must be for the adrenaline rush  :-/

Oh, and OOF of course, as I find myself on here everyday like that bloke in Groundhog Day  :D

My only vice other than work & family is this place saying hi to the newbies.

Like my job (3d modeller / designer water/wastewater projects), but hate the systems that my big brother holding company make us utilise.   >:( (And before anyone asks, I had nothing to do with the shenanigans pouring millions of litres of untreated sewerage in the Firth of Forth last weekend).

Family, 1 wife (thankfully), 3 kids - girl 12, boy 9, and another boy just about 2. Luv em to bits, but can it's obvious to see that I used to work away form home for a period of about 6 years.  ;D

Interests include Flight Simulation (which is addictive) and recently, tropical fish. (Bought an aquarium for my daughter and the damn fish started to breed like there was no tomorrow - had to upgrade from a 35-litre to a 135-litre tank!).

Quite enjoy working on the Meega, but as it's a 1995 and has recently acquired more issues than Readers Digest, my heart's not in it. Looking to upgrade this year (Meega, of course  :y).

One wife (20 years younger than me  ;)), one daughter of 6.167 years and one son of 2.583 years. Work from home as freelance financial graphic designer, which means drawing endless charts of Gross Domestic Product, Inflation, Stock Indices etc, etc. It's not as boring as its sounds and it's great to work from home. Could never go back to old days of office politics and endless tedious meetings...

Well i'm new here (only the second day and ain't it bloody adictive ;D) so i guess this has to be my latest interest  :y as for other interests, well in my early years i trained as a mechanic but left the trade when it became a plug in world, then went onto work in my farthers haulage company both driving and repairing his trucks. After he sold up i went to work for the old bill looking after a fleet of their cars (this is where my love of the omega started, the volvo T5s were quick but the MV6s had the drive at the right end and were awsome). Since then i have been in the building trade and am now at present a mainteance engineer looking after two leisure centres.
So back to my interests, anything mechanical, i love to tinker with the meega, real ale, you can't beat it, motorsport, (still saving hard for another mk 2 RS2000 to track day again), music and family and good friends. So when i'm not repairing other folks cars or houses it would be great to attend one of your meets and put some faces to names.
Bloody hell ain't i gone on, hope your not to bored and talk to you all soon, cheers, Jez
P.S forgot to include large breasts :P
