New Big Trak
« on: 07 August 2010, 22:20:32 »

Hi all

Just picked up our new release Big Trak today.

Brought back so many happy memories opening that big colourful box, replicated exactly as it was before.....

I think I was 8 the first time I got given a Big Trak, at the time (1980) it was so advanced.......!!

The relaucnhed Big Trak is exactly the same, but there is a feel of lightness and cheapness to it that wasnt there originally, it was heavy before and made from course plastic, the new one is lighter in weight and appears made of cheaper plastic....

Works as before and its been great fun today teaching our 3yr old lad how to use the same toy I was playing with 30 years ago and to see him getting as excited about it as I remember I was.....

Price paid today was £34.99, which if I am right is £5 cheaper than they sold for in 1980.....

Great toy and recommended to all..........!!!

I had a BigTrak when I were a lad... I also had the trailer that used to tip out it's load when programmed to. Excellent toys, wish I still had mine today.
