Offensive/Abusive behaviour
« on: 07 August 2010, 11:18:59 »

It would seem that once again, I need to remind people of our stance on this.

I urge everyone to reread the "Forum Guidelines" posted at the top of each board.

Offensive or abusive behaviour on here will not be tolerated at all  >:(

Whilst on the subject, please note that the Administrators and Moderators here give their time freely and for no reward.  Its not a particularly nice role to have to fulfil, so by constantly making pointed public remarks to the team as a whole, or to individuals in that team, may be enough to make them not want to do it. I cannot run this site on my own, so no moderators, no site.  Please give them the same respect we demand you give to other members.

If anyone has an issue with this, or with the running of the site, please PM me. Privately, and in confidence.  If you think I'm a knob, and don't want to discuss it with me, PM another Administrator.

I swear this sleep thing is over rated... Get a couple of hours after my night shift and miss something exciting :'( :'(

Why, oh why, can't we behave like adults... Whoever has caused this, if you don't like the way the site is run, take your attitude and play elsewhere. If you can cope, put on your long trousers and play nicely! ;)

Fully agree - if members cannot in general accept the rules/guidelines then perhaps they should go elsewhere

Sadly, forum life is like this.

I used to moderate for an American gaming community and admin on their CSS game servers. Moderating can be fun, but on the whole it's a pain in the ass.

Funny thing was that the staff bitching for this company was far worse than any of the 'banter' on the public forums.

Keep up the good work :y
