Front bumper lip

Whats the opinion on painting the black lip at the bottom of the bumper body colour?
I wondered if it would make it a bit 'chunkier'......?

I painted the front and rear mudflaps on my Astra SRi polar white to match the body colour and thought it looked the muttz nutzz at the time.

Was back in the late 80's though....

Not so sure of the underbumper splitter.  Might be OK but would guess, needs seen to be appreciated....

I had been pondering doing it...tonight i saw a Gold one on ebay which has had it all done, i.e the black grille between the spots plus the bottom spiltter
I would only be doing the splitter though.... i think it looks ok

You cant hardly notice the splitter really i suppose if it was colour coded it may add sum depth to the bumper.

Here is the ebay one.... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VAUXHALL-OMEGA-ELITE-SUPERB-CAR-FOR-YEAR_W0QQitemZ120612173925QQcategoryZ9858QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp3286.m7QQ_trkparmsZalgo%3DLVI%26itu%3DUCI%26otn%3D3%26po%3DLVI%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D6215908075411162886

Obviously not the other parts of the bumper just the bottom

The between foggies grille and plenum look keech....  BOAK!

Splitter needs fitting/joining correctly and might work out fine.

Jury still out for me though, and I have the same colour car....

I was thinking about getting the chrome strips that stick over the grill parts, thought that wouldnt look too bad on the lower grill between the fogs.

Painted in the body colour would it not more easily show the inevitable battle scars that this part is prone to receive? :-/

The work done to the car in the eBay link borders on the vulgar in my view. :( :(
