By the looks of it and me being a hawk eye, that Omega with the L.E.D lights looks like it needs a new ABS ECU  To be honest I think L.E.D lights look good on cars, but only cars which have them fitted as standard.

There is one car they look taccy on even as standard Phil I agree, the R8 is the only one I can think of though 

To a degree I am nearly 100% with you on that, but it's the Leds that put me off buying an Audi R8,    oh yeah and the lack of 118k

C'mon you lot! That Omega didn't look that bad, I think the modifications carried out were quite subtle and discreet. The only things letting it down were the beige interior and the dodgy aftermarket alloys...

Is every-one on this site over the age of 50?

I'm 26 and still think they look like chav'd up cr@p that belongs on a Saxo, but each to their own!

Fazeel if you like them put them on, taste is not something to be judged (at least to some degree  )
Personally I wouldn't put them on the outside but for  instance I was thinking of putting leds under the seats and maybe under the dash to serve just as courtesy lights only (cause the original ones are pretty useless for illuminating the floor and the carpets)

IMHO day running lights are ok, but they should be as unobtrusive to the car as possible, whilst retaining the "seeability" aspect of the l.e.d lights during the day.

Although the Audi lights are unsubtle in their appearance, surely lights that are "hidden" in the cars lines but illuminate are better?

The idea of them is fine, us motorcyclists have ridden with our headlights on during the day for years for that very reason-  but retro-fitting of them has to look "OE" or it looks like some idiot has just put them on for some afterthought styling exercise and "devalues" their effect.

I'm not a fan of the daytime running lights on any car I've seen to be honest, just passed a Merc S-class with them on and although the car was lovely, the lights just looked really naff. Don't even like 'em on the R8 either
