Has the battery got wet do you think? Or did the phone not get wet enough for that? Ime battery will swell up or show signs of acid escaping if fubar, which would point to a buggered phone. But on the other hand if it's gone totally flat it may take a while to get it charged enough to turn the phone on.  :-/

If no joy I might be tempted to dismantle the phone for a peak, nout to loose... :-/

The battery looks OK. A quick look inside was what I was thinking of in the first place. After taking the back off & three tiny screws off .......... I've changed my mind. I can't see so small any more!  ;D  ;D  ;D

Andy,if the pcb got wet and then you turned it on.May be something has blown :-/

I'm afraid I think you're right. She removed the battery ASAP after it got wet. She only splashed it too, & it appears it was enough to kill it. The irony was, that when at Glasonbury, she heard a phone ringing in the toilets, it was actually down a pan - still ringing!!  :o  ;)

turd missed call today? ::)

on another forum i use they advised to get the battery out asap ,dont try and switch on and put the phone in a tub of uncooked rice (sounds daft i know ) put the lid back on the tub and leave it for a few days...   the rice will draw the spillage and moisture from the phone..   triedc it and it does work :o

I went to attack the phone armed with my T6 Torx driver only to find they were tiny cross head screws.  ;)
It's been charging all night but still no joy. I think I can safely say it's dead.  :'(
