I'm fed up.....

......being absolutely rather useless with computers. Bought myself a 4gig SD card to copy my sat nav. Can't even work out how to format it. :(

Thanks Cem. I've plugged it into the card reader and all I get is 'F:/ is not accessible. The request could not be performed because of of an I/O device error'.

Seriously though, I have similar difficulties with modern technology....I got called a Dinasor at work recently.... ::) ::)

Windows XP and a SanDisk card? What's to be compatible?

Dont know. I thought the unit would just read the card, couldn't see any point in putting an empty one in :-/

I'm not gonna fubar the car's sat nav by messing around, she'd kill me.

Do I need an SD rather than an SDHC then? They're cheap as chips on amazon.
