Dealer mark-up
« on: 17 September 2010, 13:49:14 »

When I traded the astra against the megane I got £4300 for it. It's up for grabs at £5999, a mark-up of 28%. Even though it's quite a hike, it's not as bad as I thought.

1700 quid, knock off 500 quids worth of expenses you get 1200.

VAT also has to be paid on the markup to.

Still, if they shift it on quite quickly its a nice little earner and the key thing in succesful car sales, is shifting your stocks
