I've read Traceys rant. Dunno what kicked it off but it does'nt surprise me in the slightest. I know her well, she's a proper geezerbird, stroppy, gobby & hard as nails. I also love her to bits & despite everything would'nt have her any other way...i would'nt have her at all 'cos she's one of my best mates wife...Yes she sticks her neck out at times but in some ways she's like me. Bad side is badder than bad but good side is unbeatable. When i had my hernia done this feb. she not only drove me to & from the hospital (in MV6 style) but i was terrified, big & loud as i am those of you who know me would've been shocked. She was the total opposite of the side she showed in her post before & after & for the next few weeks asked if work were keeping me on light duties...genuine concern. She really put my mind at rest when i was at a low ebb & was totally supportive. She is the only one who can make tea exactly how i like it, i call it a Tracey tea. She is a great Mum & her children reflect this. I understand this in no way detracts from her initial post & i'm not sure i agree with her myself. She was very confrontational & i know this will in no way please everyone. Some of you think i'm ok others think i'm a bit of a cock at times & you have a point because i know i can get my knickers in a twist & let you all know about it. Some of us are like that, we all differ in character & self control.
Suffice to say she's one of the best friends you can ever have. Guy. :y

As an Omega Owner you have evey right as a woman to help, advice and comment like the rest of us do Lizzie, you also have the same rights as any one else who shares this plannet that we live on, sadly that where it end's.

It seem's to me that far too many men have forgotton how important women actually are to us.  After giving birth and spending most of the early years bring us up, it seems that men then grow a pair and start with thier attitude problems.  It starts as a teenager and in some case they grow up and get respectfull and in others they just get worse.

I will be honest I was horrified at some of the comments i 1st saw towards tracey (fletchesmrs) last night and am therefore not suprised in the slightest that she stood her ground against some of you.  I reckon if you had said hald the stuff to her in her working enviroment her fellow workmates would have decked some of you.

I actually thought the forum was better than this and had grown out of it after the last time it happened.  Women are equal in life, they may be weaker but they are not inferior.

Just because Tracey stood up for herself there was no need to turn on her, yes she got annoyed and said things and maybe added some bad language, but FFS she was pushed into it.

There is only a small % of women on here, Lizzie (bless her) has left a time or 2, Ljay wont post any more, even Debs has considered leaving, the ladies of the forum should be posting more not less.

If you think I am out of order then feel free to PM, this forum should be respectfull and balanced, bloddy hell, we even put up with Del Boy posting on here and he prefers BMW's and Merc's.    ::) :y

Are you sure we're talking about the same person Skruntie? If so, then let me open your eyes a bit wider. Firstly, she entered the forum last night with a bad attitude, she was spoiling for a fight from the first keystroke to the last & was most definately not 'pushed' into anything! Secondly, she made uncalled for derogatory statements about several members, myself included & her language was borderline by male standards let alone female. Far from being 'ganged up on' which is the way you appear to have seen it, this Haridan was the one pushing the boundaries & deserved what she got IMO, & I would even go so far as to say she got off lightly! :-/. We all banter together & call each other names & take the mick, even though we've (most of us) never met, but because we 'meet' each other electronically fairly regularly, we have an idea of where each of us is coming from, and just how far we can go without overstepping the mark? (and yes,I know this doesn't always work), but it is totally out of order for one member to sign on out of the blue & call members they know nothing about, 'Kn*b Head, Clever tw*t, break you, etc. I even tried to lighten the mood with a genuine attempt at conciliation and had it thrown back in my face with another foul mouthed rant in capital letters! :(
And please, don't anyone apologise to her or anyone else on my behalf, or make excuses for anything I may have been a part of. If there are any apologies called for from me, I will be the one who decides if it is warranted or not. There will be no apologies forthcoming where this particular 'Lady' is concerned. :-X

I am sorry Skruntie for once I cannot agree with your appraisal of this situation :'( :'(

Phil is absolutely right in his comments and observations as far as I can see, and I studied both threads she was involved in this morning with a fresh pair of eyes.  I could not believe what I was reading and questioning to myself why she would engage in such a rash of "attitude".

She was in the wrong, and the men involved purely held their ground even under intense provocation to do a lot worse than they did ::) ::) ::)
If a male had continued un such away, a ban would eventually result I am sure. Obnoxious, rude, goading and confrontational. Most amusing.  ;D

But this is not the first time, what is it that possesses female oofers in such a way every now and then?  ::)

Fair comment Guy :y :y :y

I do feel at times that all of us can suffer some form of personality change when contributing to a forum.  All of us can be lovely people in real life, but then become a bit of a devil on here! I can live with that Richie, as long as my man regularly decorates the house, does all the running repairs necessary, looks after my car, treats me to romantic meals, gives me constant cuddles, warmth and security, with him always ensuring he places all his dirty clothes in the wash bin, oh, and puts the toilet seat down, with the garden always kept as a paradise for me, with him bringing me plenty of cups of tea whilst I read my books..................that about covers it! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;)

I'm not at all old fashioned. I do all of the cooking and cleaning. I'm usually finished by about 9:30am

For my wife's part, she merely gets up at 6am and puts in a 10-12 hour day. Slacker.
