Young Mark was with his mates from the OOF drinking in the Station Bar when they heard a whistle. They all dashed outside just in time to see the back of the train disappearing out of the Station. "The next train is in 1 hour", said the Stationmaster, so they all went back into the bar.
Through all the Omega banter, laughing & backslapping, they heard another whistle! Out they all dashed for a second time, & again the train was fast disappearing into the sunset. "The next one will be another 60 minutes", said the Stationmaster smugly. So they all trudged a bit unsteadily back into the bar. An hour later, they all dashed out onto the platform and scrabbled onto the train just as it was pulling out!, but Mark had stopped to finish his pint & had been left behind in the rush and was stood alone on the platform......laughing his head off!
"Your mates have just left you alone", said the Stationmaster, puzzled "what's so funny?"
"Well", said Mark; "They only came to see me off" !!!!
