question for our police officers
« on: 03 October 2010, 13:01:40 »

british legion is on the other side of the fence, car parked in there last night the alarm was going off from about 1am till just after i got up at 7am. its nearly every saturday night. one of my neighbours rang thelegion a couple of weeks ago about it but they havent taken any notice.  fair play to them not driving home drunk as the legions exit is dead opposite the police station, but its no good to me

now do i ring the police next time or the council noise control officer,  or just get hammered so i dont wake up  ::) ;D ;D

The Police will tell you it's not a police matter then refer you to the Environmental Health Agency which is getting closed down due to cuts.  I reckon somebody's give-a-poo-o-meter will be set on Zero.  Prob best if you can get under the bonnet and disconnect the battery or the horn. I bet they will fix it after you do that a couple of times  :y

left for 6 hours unattended with the alarm blaring, the worst you'll get if you burn the thing out is a round of applause!

Hmmm....im not suggesting you do this...

However if you were to throw a couple of empty bottles over your fence and they where to smash....in the legions carpark......and then you phoned the police to tell them you heard glass breaking and a car alarm is going off.....then it is a police matter  ::)

Dont do it Riche  ;)
