Been a sad day
« on: 05 October 2010, 19:41:59 »

Been a tough day today... Had the funeral of a good friend who died 2 weeks ago after falling and hitting his head :'( :'(

36 is way too young to leave, especially when there are young kids left behind :'( :'(

That is very sad news indeed LD.

Death can come at any time and in many guises, only when we understand this, can we truly celebrate life and all those we hold dear.

If life teaches us anything, it's that none of us knows what's around the corner or what tomorrow will bring, so live every day like it's your last & never go to bed on an argument, always swallow your pride & make up :( :-X

Ironically, he had congenital heart problems and had to have repeated surgery... The last one (15 months or so ago) nearly killed him but he battled through and back to full health!

My next door neighbour who was 36, she was coming home from our town centre and she was on her mobile and some how she triped and went under a bus and got killed out right, she was a teacher  and you dont think it would happen to some one who lives next door to you and she was a lovelly young lady that didn't deserve to die and that happened last july and it really upset me when i found out

Was heartbreaking to see... But they were so grown up and dignified.

I hate funerals at the best of times but watching such young parents saying goodbye to their child just gets to me :'(
