It's alive! It's alive!
« on: 06 October 2010, 20:42:22 »

I've got my hearing back! :( :( :( :( :(

It came back quite suddenly mid-morning.  Still got a bit of pain, and I'm not sure I can hear as well as I did before, but it's coming on.

The car sounds a bit rough - that'll need investigating.  And I had a row with the wife within minutes of telling her I could hear again.  On reflection, telling her might have been a bad move. :(

A letter arrived at lunch time telling me that my emergency appointment at Ipswich Hospital ENT department is next Monday.  Bl**dy glad it wasn't a cardiology appointment I needed.

Encouraging news thankfully - hearing and ENT appointment not row and car.

Made me chuckle.. sorry ;)

GLAD YOU'VE GOT YO.. oh, wait, no need to shout now - glad you've got your hearing back, though!

Funny about the appointment; my ex-boss was doubled over in pain with a suspected kidney stone, and the earliest appointment he could get for a scan was a fortnight away..

"What if I pay to go private?" he says, "Oh, come down tomorrow then," was the answer..  ::)
