As far as I can see, there's break all inside a pumpkin. A load of seeds tied together with wet string. Wouldn't fancy eating it at all.

I'll send you over some, just make sure you have decent rice to go with it, and a couple of burrito's on the side with some finely chopped tomatoes, soured cream or gaucomole!!

just let me know where to meet you and you will be welcome.

I can take it - steamed - but it's also nice roasted with honey drizzled over and sprinkled with sesame seeds.

It makes a pleasant change from the usual carbs. :y

If you are really enthusiastic about pumpkin pie, why not contact these people:

I'm not keen on it myself.

my wife has some stunning pumpkin recipes... we grow our own every year,  usually a bout half a dozen up to 2 foot across....   this yea they're a bit small as we tried a new site in the garden, and it wasn;t that great....

pumpkin  pie....   yum...  depending on recipe.  the one she got off my aunt in the US IS AWESOME.....

pumpkin soup, a bit bland , but can be tarted up a bit....

pumpkin bread, a bit like banana bread, except, no banana, whihc makes it absolutely gorgeous in my book....  and indeed , anyone's, it's moist, sweet, with a hint of spice....  glorious....

stuffed pumpkin... pretty good with beef and stilton stuffing.   much like stuffed marrow really...

pumpkin fritters, were interesting....
