Loving your Mig.

Stuck out in the truck tonight but driving home from work yesterday it struck me how much i love the Beastie. I know we all love our Migs but after a couple of years mundane trips to the shops or work it's all to easy to forget how good they are. How many cars will accomodate a large family, chew intergalactic miles without effort, 80mph=3000 revs, take Granny to church in style & comfort but still give a Scooby a run for it's money in a straight line & only cost a grand? They also look beautiful from every angle.
    Easy to take forgranted but every once in a while something reminds you why we love them so much! 8-)

must admit i love going on the m4 with the cruise on, first car ive had that doesnt give me severe backache or agonising knee pain on long journeys  :y

now that gay marriages have been legal for a while, im hoping they will pass a bill that allows us to marry our cars, then im gonna stick a white frilly dress on mine and make an honest miggy of her.  ;D

yep.. they are cheap, comfy and still beautiful ..  :y

Think I've found my ideal car....................(and I've had a few cars in my time) but I'm dreading the time when the newest one I can buy is still 10 years old...................!!

No, you're right - Omega B is great. I had a similar moment not so long ago coming home from B&Q. Having stretched it's legs a bit, it suddenly dawned on me that where else could I get a big RWD car with entertaining handling which is easy to fix, looks fairly anonymous, has decent fuel economy and does 150mph - all for £100.

realistically though mine wouldnt trouble a scooby :(

Tip.

For those of us who do not reside in Spain, it is illegal to have a picnic and do the crossword whilst the car is in cruise mode.

yep love my Mig as well, though i do still wonder why people slow down when im coming along side them and move out of my way if im behind them, still it gets me to my destination quicker ;D

I do call mine the Scooby Chaser (amongst other things) the emphasis being on the word "chaser" as i've never beaten one!!! However on 3 or 4 occasions on exiting a roundabout behind one we've both planted it in 2nd. Being rally aspired, 4x4 & turbo the Scooby pulls away initially although not by as much i'd expected. Around 90/100mph + the longer legs of the Mig takeover. Not wanting a ban i've backed off. There are a few different spec Scoobies & i don't know the differences or which ones i've played with. I've also never driven one but i can say i've seen a couple of surprised faces looking in thier rear view mirrors & that alone is satisfying enough! 8-)
