And this is before the spending review !!!  Don't forget the civil service was already on a shrinkage programme before this -- the next round to be announced in a couple of weeks will be on top of those losses.

As I have oft said before, it won't be the jobs at the top that go (the ones we don't need and take the lion's share of salaries and pensions!!)

Well we do charge you to enter Wales.via the Severn bridges,we can't afford toll booths on all roads,so we charge only on our one main motorway.
It don't cost nothing to leave thro.

Indeed, and the Welsh are going to get their own passports.  It will have graphics representing sheep all over it!

They have snipers at the end of both tunnels for any vehicle displaying any hint of Welshness.
If you get passed them, the passport office staff have instructions to make you wait until the office is closed.
