Other half's grandmother has one of those things.  I stuck a MG badge on the nose of it.  Which went down badly.  ::)

A friend of mine got his toes run over by an old biddy in one of those 4 wheel mobility scooters, his ankle and foot swelled up and went black too. when he saw her again, he had a stick to help him walk. He asked her to watch out a bit more carefully next time, and was told by her (she must have been 80 if she was a day....)   " watch where you are f******g going, and you won't get run over next time!!!"  BTW, she was driving on the PAVEMENT, and people were just trying to get out of her way as she was doing about 8mph!!

There should be some kind of a law about these things, they just drive down the centre of the pavement, and YOU have to get out of THEIR way as you appear to be walking on THEIR road!!

Hmm - I think getting in their way would be called for they can't ram through :( :( :( :(

Mate, its true....I took him to Frenchay Hospital afterwards, and because it was his right foot, he could'nt even drive himself there in an auto................the nurse tried to hide her amusement, but the x-ray bloke was sniggering when he found out how it happened!!
