..Gordon Bennett...same thing happened again today - this time on the M40 and A404 past Maidenhead...

This time a bloke in a Golf - o/s rear tyre nearly on the rim. Couldn't even get close - and the really annoying thing today was that every day last week and yesterday I've spent hours queuing in bloomin traffic on both these roads. Even the sodd**g traffic lights at High Wycombe were green all the way round for a change and no hold ups all the way to the M4 J8/9 - typical.
AND I was in the bl**dy Omega... ahhhh.

Is it me ??

By the way - have you ever tried the Golf Brake light game ?
If you're ever behind a Golf for any reason - assuming it's moving and you haven't been following it for long - try and guess if it will only have 1 brake light working when the driver next applies the brakes - I reckon the odds are better than 50/50 that it will have one gone (anything older than an 06 plate anyway). I think the bulbs take it in turns to blow - friend of mine is always chasing them on theirs...

Cheers
Ian.

I think its time you stopped trying to help others out as it must be costing you a small fortune in petrol and bulbs  ;) :)  but well done for trying at least

I have a notepad in my car and on each page in thick letters, in reverse, is several messages:

FLAT TYRE!!

NO REAR LIGHTS WORKING

DRESS CAUGHT IN DOOR

GET OFF YOUR PHONE BEFORE YOU KILL ME

YOUR CAR'S ON FIRE

and finally

WATCH THE ROAD!

I dont really, but maybe it's a good idea! ;D
Danny, you'll need a bigger pad because you'll have to write it in about 15 different languages ;D

I think golfs need to go to a garage to have a bulb done.
